We are happy to announce that we are launching Orange Friday together with our partner UN Women Sweden!

Nearly 1 in 3 women have been abused in their lifetime. In times of crises, the numbers rise, as seen during the COVID-19 pandemic and recent humanitarian crises, conflicts and climate disasters. A new report from UN Women, based on data from 13 countries since the pandemic, shows that 2 in 3 women reported that they or a woman they know experienced some form of violence and are more likely to face food insecurity. Only 1 in 10 women said that victims would go to the police for help.

25th of November is Orange Day (an initiative since many years back by UN Women). The aim with Orange Day is to pay attention to violence against women. This year, Orange Day occurs the day before Black Friday. We have decided to not be part of Black Friday - but instead launch Orange Friday together with UN Women Sweden. We believe in women and in sustainability, and instead of encouraging our customers to buy our products to a lower price, we want to take this opportunity to voice something we believe is more important.

During Orange Friday, we will increase our prices with 100 SEK / 10 EUR on our Signature briefcase - where the whole price increase will go to UN Women Sweden's important work. As you may know, we already donate 100 SEK / 10 EUR per sold bag, so this day we will give 200 SEK / 20 EUR in total.

We are so proud of this long-term partnership we have with the fantastic organization UN Women Sweden, please support us in raising awareness of Orange Day.
