Materials and Origin
Production: All items signed BY BANOO are handcrafted in family-owned factories in northern Portugal, with extensive experience in luxury goods and a keen eye for detail. Following strict EU regulations, they ensure excellent working conditions for artisans.
Leather: All our leather is sourced from an Italian tannery that holds the prestigious LWG Gold Rating, the highest certification in the industry, with a traceability score of up to 85%. The tannery also meets USDA biobased product standards. We exclusively use premium cow leather in all of our designs.
Leather types:
- Pebbled Leather: Soft and durable, with fine textured top-grain leather.
- Smooth Leather: Full-grain nappa with a semi-gloss finish and a luxuriously smooth feel.
- Suede: Fine, soft, and velvety top-grain suede with a water-resistant coating and excellent color retention.
Inner lining: 100% cotton on all bags except for 12 Hour Duffel Bag and 24 Hour Suitcase which has a 100% Polyester inner lining for easy maintenance.
Hardware: All snaphooks are made from high-quality brass, ensuring exceptional durability and the strength to support the weight of heavy work bags. BY BANOO exclusively uses YKK zippers.

- Duties: Duties are included for the EU, UK, US, UAE and Saudi. Duties are not paid for other countries and needs to be covered by the customer upon delivery.
3-year warranty and lifetime repair service
3-year warranty
At By Banoo, we design our bags to last. If your product breaks or stops working as it should within three years of receiving it, we’ll repair or replace it for free. Contact us at hello@bybanoo.com so we can assist you in the best way.
Our 3-year warranty covers fault caused defects made in production. If your bag breaks after normal use, for example the zipper breaks or similar, it will be covered by the warranty. The warranty doesn’t cover damage from misuse, accidents, or neglect (such as stains, scratches, or tears caused by rough handling or overpacking).
Life-time repair service
After the 3-year warranty, we offer a repair service. Depending on what needs to be done, we will analyze the cost and come back to you with a price suggestion. If you accept the price, we will move forward with the repair. Please contact us at hello@bybanoo.com to take advantage of this service.
